Lavender Lavendula ‘Munstead: Lavender is an easy to grow perennial and does well in fertile, well drained soil in full sun. Grows 18” tall. 

 

 

 Thymus Citriodorus

Thyme: Thyme grows 12-24″ tall. It is used to flavor all types of dishes. Grows best in full sun. Blooms June through July. Also a useful border or edging plant

 

 

Lemon Thyme: Lemon thyme has a slightly more-pronounced lemony fragrance than traditional garden thyme.

 

 

 

Rosemary: Rosemary has aromatic, evergreen, needle-like leaves that are used in cooking. Rosemary is a tender perennial that can be shaped or trained into a topiary. Grows up to 4′ tall. Best in full sun and fertile soil.

 

 

Oregano: Although Basil may be thought of as the heart of Italian cuisine, oregano also finds its way into sauces, salad dressings and seasonings for meat and vegetables. A hardy plant for full sun, grows18-24″ tall.

 

 

 

Sweet Italian Basil: The spicy-sweet flavor of its leaves will add zest to almost any recipe. Don’t forget to use the flowers, too.

 

 

 

 

Mrs. Burns Lemon Basil: A great tasting lemon basil, with a sweet, tangy flavor. This heirloom variety has been grown for 60 years in southeastern New Mexico. Very bright green, 2 1/2″ long leaves and white blooms make this basil both attractive and intensely flavorful.

    Drought resistant: means can handle full sun and dry soil for days. Many non-drought resistant, full sun plants need regular watering.
    Attracts wildlife: these plants will attract wildlife such as hummingbirds, goldfinches, and butterflies. Great for the kids to see, and good for the ecosystem.
